We're getting near the end of the public preview for myRMX.  But don't be sad, the official release should be coming soon.

We've got two more mixPACKs in the queue.   June 9th we release a fantastic mixPACK from Infected Mushroom for their latest single "Smashing the Opponent" feat. Jonathan Davis fro KORN.   This really is a fantastic song and the mixPACK came out great.   There's a lot stuffed in to the mixPACK and it's a lot of fun.

Toward the end of the week we should have another great Electronica mixPACK for release that will accompany a myRMX "Electronica" package.

We hope you enjoy it.

Today we released our first batch of mixPACKs.  Eleven, actually.   We're still working out all the kinks in the release pipeline.  In the future we'll release a few every week rather than a bunch all at once.

The six included free with the myRMX download have now been released on their own.  You can now share mixTONEs without requiring the person to download and install a different myRMX package.

   Yenn - So Good to be Wrong (pop/electronica)
   SPC ECO - Telling You (indie/nugaze)
   March Hare - Lost at Sea (rock/alt-metal)
   Craving Lucy - Burn (rock/metal)
   S. Poe - Work Hard (hip-hop)
   Dekumpozed - Everyday (hip-hop)

In addition, we also release 4 premium and 1 new promo mixPACK:

   The Grouch and Eligh - All In (hip-hop)
   C U X W - All She Really Wants (hip-hop/electronica)
   The Chrono Logic - DERMABRATION (electronica)
   Craving Lucy - I'm Alive (rock/metal)
   S. Poe - Go Realla (hip-hop)

Way back when myRMX was a bunch of scribbles in a notebook and concept art,  I asked a friend of mine if he could help out and come up with some samples for this remixing thing we were working on for mobile phones. So with no idea how they would go together or even what the software did, he built us some sample collections.

We've changed myRMX a lot since then, and not everything was still useable.  However, here's a collection of his samples in a mixPACK for your remixing enjoyment.

First a plug for my friend that created them:

Thanks to Craig Perkins, the creator of the awesome Broken Heart Robot:

Enjoy the mixPACK.

Nokia 3250-N91 Compatibltiy Kit

This file replaces files allowing support for Nokia 3250, N91, and N91 8BG screen resolution (176x208).

NOTE:  This is untested.  (We don't have any of these handsets)

Installation is rather "hack-ish" right now.  If someone with one of these handsets will volunteer to help test, we can create a standard sisx file.

    1)  Install any/all of the normal myRMX packages
    2)  Download the zip file below and copy it to the phone
    3)  On the phone, find the zip file in "File Manager" and select it.
    4)  Select "Options->Mark/Unmark->Mark All"
    5)  Select "Options->Extract"
    6)  Select the same location where you installed myRMX
    7)  Select "Replace All"

When you launch myRMX, you should have skins and help screens the correct size for your display.  You can now install mixPACKs.

Welcome to the myRMX user's forum.

There's not much here yet.  We just launched the public preview today and I've almost been here at the office 24 hours.  The forum is for more in-depth discussion about myRMX and we'll throw out some fun development stuff.  Tomorrow I'll post something fun.  I promise!
